Abbey Bank email fraud

Now it's the turn of the Abbey Bank to have a scam email sent in their name. Apparently they are doing an upgrade - how unusual.

Don't despair at the bank scammers, have a good laugh at them instead. Head to the right of this post and grab yourself a copy of "I'm Banking on it". A humerous guide to the UK banking system in turmoil, as seen through the eyes of the scammers.

The link in the email might look legitimate, but look where it takes me: It looks almost as if it could be real, BUT - this is the real address of the Abbey bank:There is a difference, the fake one is ww3. Moral of this story is make sure you know the EXACT address of your online bank.

And if I click on the fake link, what do the phishers want? Well absolutely all my personal details, including my card number. Not b****y likely sunshine.
