The (almost) funny thing is that the Return Path is noreply@paypal.com.au (the "au" being the extension for PayPal AUSTRALIA!)<br />Apparently, the message was originally sent from IP address 68.236.120.40 which traces to Boston Massachusetts, and the link that's included in the message ("supposedly" leading to the secure webform) contains IP address 67.136.158.154 which traces to Colorado Springs, Colorado<br />Kind of long ways from Australia, aren't they?<br />I've received dozens of these and similar phishing messages that "claim to be" from PayPal, and forwarded just about every one of them to spoof@paypal.com, but have never gotten any kind of response from them, and the spam just keeps coming!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814060177179403346.post-56245197506720196412011-10-27T18:46:05.350+01:002011-10-27T18:46:05.350+01:00I got one of these emails today.
